Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for existing and potential customers in the insurance industry. They support the development of client relationships, promote services, and assist in designing portfolios and solutions for potential clients. The Account Manager also maintains relationships with other professionals to indirectly increase the employer's market share.

Responsibilities:

  •  Inside service and quoting, rating and writing of new and existing accounts.

  • Handle and oversee account renewals, remarkets, endorsements, billing and claims.

  • Review accounts for current, accurate coverage and cross selling.

  • Marketing of Insurance Products

  • Assist and provide technical support to Producers/Management

Requirements:

  • Individual must be highly dependable and punctual

  • P &C license; 220, 440 or 2044 insurance license.

  • Must be a self starter with good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Need to be analytical and detailed oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with little supervision.

  • Someone to solve problems and manage risks

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others

  • Applied EPIC Management System helpful but not required.

  • Experience in property and casualty personal lines insurance is required
