About the role

Role Description:

These Agile multi-functional product teams will fast track productivity from concept through pilot to deployment. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure all functional units are aware of their project responsibilities and track stories through SAFe agile methodology. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and deep technical competence will contribute to the successful delivery of IT projects and the continuous improvement of business processes

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the planning and hosting of stand-up meetings to review user stories
• Clearing roadblocks and impediments for product team members, shielding the team from distractions
• Resolving issues and removing impediments that hinder the team's progress and performance
• Coordinating and facilitating the work of multi-functional teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
• implementation of sprint planning sessions
• Helping the team to determine their goals and coaching team members
• Assisting the product owner with the product backlog
• Define and implement team practices and principles (XXX)
• Implementing project management standard processes to ensure consistency across the product team
• Keeping all parties on track and informed
• Assist in Program Increment planning (PI Planning)
• Communicating effectively with internal and external team members, including senior management, product owners, developers, testers, and end users
• Monitoring and reporting on project metrics, risks, and dependencies
• Promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree in information technology or computer science

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 6 years of Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on a project team, or an FDA-regulated industry (pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics)
• Prior Experience working in Agile teams with ability to adapt to changes
• Familiar with SAFe principles, PI planning and Agile Release Trains
• Ability to Plan and implement sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews and participate in scrum of scrum events
• Ability to develop clear and detailed business requirements and design specifications that can be understood by other delivery teams and business partners
• Familiarity with any of the following: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Planner
• Technical writing experience and good communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid teammate who is able to collaborate with colleagues on complex tasks
• Prior work experience that demonstrates strong customer service skills, effective analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in multi-functional teams
• Experience with formal project methodologies

Must-Have Skills :

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges in drug discovery with data
• Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team
• An ongoing commitment to learning and staying at the forefront of AI/ML advancements.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in a scientific domain area and related technology needs
• Understanding of scientific data strategy, data governance, data infrastructure
• Experience with cloud (e.g. AWS) and on-premise compute infrastructure
• Experience with stakeholder management, managing a team of 20, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and driving the successful delivery of technical projects
• Familiarity with data analytics and scientific computing platforms such as Databricks, Dash, Plotly, Spotfire and related programming languages like SQL, python
• Experience creating impactful slide decks and communicating data
• Ability to drive projects/company initiatives using Agile methodology

• Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role):
• SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)
• SAFe Product Owner and SAFe Product Manager (preferred)
