The Workforce Planning Specialist is responsible for balancing operational needs with resource availability, monitoring performance, creating and maintaining schedules, and managing forecasts to maximise efficiency and productivity.
In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the organisation by focusing on process optimisation, workforce efficiency, and maintaining high levels of performance.
Key Deliverables
Formulate and maintain long term forecast models to support annual budgetary process and FTE submission. Produce supporting business case to rationalise requirements. Revise requirements as required and ensure the enterprise is informed of any material deviations
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reporting on key operational metrics, providing meaningful commentary and insights
Monitor real-time performance of queues and manage any variances to plan
Standardise and mature the workforce planning discipline across Retail Operations and partnering departments
Chair daily resource planning meeting to discuss previous day learnings and resourcing recommendations for day ahead with a holistic view of Retail Operations
Keep abreast of organisational change and initiatives to ensure FTE and service level implications are articulated in context to budgeted forecast
Manage day-to-day administration and strategic roadmap of workforce management software (Verint) and telephony platform (Amazon Connect). Manage relationship with vendor and internal Application Support Team
Create and maintain employee rosters against intraday workload forecasts. Ensure shift times and scheduled activities are optimised to maximise staff utilisation and customer experience outcomes
Partner with Marketing Department to ensure outgoing customer communications are distributed at appropriate volumes and times
Qualifications
Tertiary educated
Advanced excel
Workforce planning platform
Experiences
Previous experience in a Workforce Management role, ideally in banking or finance
Previous experience in call centre or customer service environment
Experience in finance and operations is beneficial
Ability to deal and thrive in ambiguity
