About the Role & Program
Disney Advertising is responsible for advertising sales for The Walt Disney Company’s entertainment and sports offerings through linear, digital, social, audio and ad-supported streaming businesses. This includes ABC, ABC News, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital, ESPN Networks, ESPN+, Freeform, FX Networks, Hulu, National Geographic Networks and its eight ABC-owned local stations. 
What You Will Do
As a Brand Sales intern, you will be immersed in the world of digital and linear operations, learning the complexities of the advertising sales ecosystem. Brand Sales teams work directly with senior marketing leaders, including Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and their organizations, to develop strategic partnerships that align with brand objectives. You will interact and coordinate with multiple business units to understand how we develop, position, and execute advertising solutions for our clients. The program dates are June 8th through August 14, 2026.
Interns will have a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with teams inside the Disney Ad Sales (DAS) landscape that drive revenue and engagement for our partners. In this role, you will support Account Executives in advertising reporting as well as account updates. Interns will have the opportunity to meet and network throughout the Disney Advertising organization by the end of the program.  Responsibilities include:
  • Learning the lifecycle of digital and linear ad campaigns
  • Assisting in reporting and campaign trafficking 
  • Attending select meetings to learn the DAS Strategy holistically  
  • Engaging with members of the Sales team as well as other cross functional teams across the business 
  • Learning about advanced advertising initiatives including new technology, data and systems 
  • Becoming well-informed about developments within the media industry as well as advertising verticals – through project work, internal/external meetings, and industry publications 
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Keynote
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, operating within the context of highly defined, routine processes and procedures adhering to organizational deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Advertising Sales industry
  • Previous experience working in media and entertainment (academic or internship)
  • Knowledge of Disney’s multimedia properties and affinity for The Walt Disney Company
Education
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Advertising, Business, Marketing or related major preferred 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:  

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York is $22.50 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as
