Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Development:

  • Writing, testing, and maintaining ABAP code for custom solutions within the SAP environment.
  • Developing SAP modules (like FICO, SD, MM) enhancements, forms, and workflows.
  • Creating and modifying SAP reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV) and interfaces (IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs).

Technical Design:

  • Collaborating with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Designing technical solutions based on the requirements and ensuring that they are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.

Testing and Debugging:

  • Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Debugging ABAP programs to identify and fix issues.

Documentation:

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for the developed solutions.
  • Providing end-user documentation and training as needed.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Providing technical support for SAP applications post-implementation.
  • Participating in the ongoing maintenance and enhancements of SAP systems.

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimizing existing ABAP programs for better performance.
  • Analyzing performance issues and implementing efficient code solutions.

Required Skills:

  • ABAP Programming: Strong expertise in core ABAP (Reports, ALV, Dialog Programming, User Exits, BADI, BAPI, RFC, SAP Scripts, SmartForms).
  • SAP Modules Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP modules like SD, MM, FICO, HR, etc.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders and functional teams.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other developers and consultants.
