The UK claims function aims to be the market leader in the provision of an efficient, cost effective, creative and professional service to our brokers, policyholders and clients.  We strive to be proactive and flexible in the management of claims whilst maintaining our integrity. What you’ll be doing:

  • To assist the Delegated Claims Specialist, the following duties will be undertaken:

  • Reviewing Bordereau’s and MI from delegated schemes to monitor performance and adherence to expected standards.

  • Assisting in the Onboarding and Offboarding of delegated claims authority agreements.

  • Assisting in the renewal process of delegated claims authority agreements.

  • To provide feedback to Delegated Claims Specialist, to ensure that all relevant due diligence and contracts are continually up to date and remain fit for purpose.

  • Communicate with our delegated service providers (in person, by telephone and email) to develop positive relationships and knowledge of their business, and to obtain information relating to delegated claims queries

  • Monitor and update the delegated claims dashboard with new, renewal and oversight activity.

  • Take ownership of administrative tasks related to Delegated claims agreements including monitoring and responding accordingly to emails.  

  • Liaising with the wider claims team and stakeholders as necessary to offer good customer service.

  • In support of the Claims Operational Support team, other duties will include working with the wider team to provide regular support with Reports and MI creation, Customer Journey Auditing and Claims Administration Team.

Our must-haves:

  • Self-motivated learner and a proactive thinker with high attention to detail

  • Demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills in the English language

  • Have good IT (Microsoft Office) skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to use or learn our in-house systems

  • Comfortable negotiating and extracting data from systems.

  • Experience within claims or within underwriting/delegated underwriting.

  • Insurance knowledge is essential

  • Ability to adapt to different workloads as is required.
