Hospitality Solutions Team

Hospitality Solutions (HS) provides distribution, operations and marketing solutions to the hotel industry. Hospitality Solutions is used by more than 40,000 properties around the world.  Its integrated reservations systems, property management system, distribution and marketing services help hotels increase revenue, identify savings, and improve customer service and satisfaction.

The Hospitality Solutions Billing team – based at Montevideo Center - operates under the umbrella of Sabre Finance & Accounting team. We are responsible for billing and invoicing all HS customers and products across the world. We create and deliver invoices, we generate, analyze and provide valuable billing and financial information always providing extraordinary customer service to support stakeholders within and outside the company (external Customers, Sales and Account Management teams, Finance and Accounting, Internal and External Audit).

General Description 

The HS Billing Analyst is responsible for billing Hospitality Solutions Hotels and additional Hospitality portfolio products and services. Responsibilities include new account creation/termination, contract set up & management, charges creation and termination, ad-hoc reporting, research and billing validation, pricing updates and credit processing. Interaction with external customers, answering -through email and phone- billing inquiries from customers throughout the world, as well as with internal customers, coordinating with various teams (Finance, Account Management, Collections, Implementations, etc.) for issue resolution.

As a Billing Analyst, you will work from CRM (SalesForce system) using SAP, SynXis, etc., to manage the billing of already implemented accounts and analyze that charges are correct according to signed documents and contracts. You get to interact with the Collections Teams, Cash Applications, Legal, Sales teams and Accounting as internal customers. All of them have billing related matters to work on, and that helps you develop a good network within our organization.

Qualifications

  • This is a 6-month contract
  • Organizational and prioritization skills are key to this Billing Analyst role
  • Ability to handle an important workload effectively and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep a dynamic pace of work.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (filters, pivots, vlookups) are needed.
  • Accounting skills/background or accounts collections experience will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent follow-up/research skills.
  • Fluent in English language (oral and written).
  • Effective language and communications skills, willingness and ability to reach out to customers by phone or email to clarify billing inquiries while maintaining excellent customer service manners.
  • SAP, SalesForce, Access, and/or SharePoint systems knowledge will be considered a plus.
  • Self-motivation, engagement and drive for results.
  • Ability to use procedures and good judgment when working individually.
  • Flexibility to adapt to fast changing processes and procedures.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and contribute to build the best working environment with a positive attitude.
  • Lead internal projects for the team to increase efficiency and deliver extraordinary results.
