About the job:
This position is responsible for taking the full ownership on supply planning of Stryker products from the internal / external vendors allocated. This position requires the end-to-end of supply planning with a full range & spectrum. This role will work closely with the various suppliers / vendors, commercial teams, and Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance team to ensure effectiveness of the supply process in meeting overall supply outcome of requested franchises and/or assigned territories / countries reporting.
The role will be expected to be capable of autonomously finding the opportunities on improvements, driving analysis of data, perform weekly replenishment / approval including safety stock management if applicable, identify impact of constraints, and adjust accordingly to meet customers‘ expectations. This position is a key driver in ensuring adequate inventory is available to deploy in fulfillment of customer demand, while minimizing unnecessary cash outflow like E&O or any potential cash outflow risks related to supply planning.
What you will be doing:
- Propose purchasing decisions by balancing business strategy and inventory and E&O management vis-à-vis key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Where required, analyze and maintain appropriate safety stock levels to adequately support business requirements.
- Execute purchasing and manage Stryker products to achieve the goals of targets and objectives.
- Monitor PO and shipment status with suppliers and record the proper information into JDE system or other platforms, including move-it transactions.
- Actively interact with global teams, regional teams, demand planning, suppliers, warehousing & transportation to resolve supply-related issues.
- Liaise with logistics team to deliver the products in a timely manner until identification of AWB#.
- Correspond with suppliers for open & backorder management and supply issues such as PLCM, demand forecast and ERP system.
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and targets that are aligned with the business strategy.
- Participate in the monthly RRM and DSE meetings that supports assigned products or franchises.
- Support the (pre-)EDR process through relevant metric reporting and summary of risks, opportunities, & key supply decisions required.
- Autonomously drive the improvements on supply planning areas aligned with East Asia planning team’s strategy and KPIs.
- Actively participate in PLCM and other supply related global projects to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated, and executed in support of the project timelines.
- Measure, analyzes, and report key process metrics, while monitoring adherence to KPIs that are assigned to this position.
- Responsible for regular and ad-hoc information flow for customers, commercial partners, global allocations, and logistics.
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or quantitative fields.
- Min 3 – 5 years relevant experience in supply planning, procurement & inventory management
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI design skills.
- Experiences in SQL and VBA is plus.
- Financial knowledge related to Supply Chain Management.
- Experiences working with systems such as JDE / SAP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to interact independently with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams on resolving problems and / or projects.
- Meticulous, detailed oriented and sense of urgency for problem solving.
- Good command of English (written and spoken), as well as local language.
