Job Description:
This job is responsible for monitoring advisory product and enhancing the investment opportunities for clients by working with the Senior Product Specialist to understand client expectations and to develop platform or product capabilities enhancements. Key responsibilities include working with teammates in developing product plans, strategies and enhancements, and performing necessary research. Job expectations include supporting senior specialist as well as building relationships and becoming trusted support to clients and or colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide accurate and effective work
  • Supports Senior Product Specialists with researching and providing strategic analysis regarding investment programs and platforms available
  • Provides support from a day-to-day perspective to advisors, key parties, and other teammates
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills like Excel, Word, and other platforms
  • Creates opportunities to work in a team environment while achieving individual goals as well
  • Reviews and monitors assigned accounts daily
  • Helps to ensure the continuous and accurate flow of trade-orders.
  • Performs account analysis by generating reports to help identify and resolve dispersion within accounts.
  • Helps to investigate and work with other business partners in resolving trading issues as well as follows up and verifies previous account issues are resolved
  • Independently creates and reviews complex analyses of accounts
  • Accurately creates, executes, and reviews trades, according to instructions and departmental trading procedures, for execution
  • Researches and replies to email inquiries from the field – Financial Advisors and Client Associates
  • Performs or assists with performing any needed periodic account maintenance on accounts
  • Works with Error Control team on various exceptions (debits and shorts) as well as resolving trade errors
  • Works with various Discretionary Managers on any account issues and inquiries

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, self-motivated, good work ethics and work effectively in a team environment 
  • Ability to multi-task, and work in fast-paced very high-volume area
  • Proven ability to communicate/articulate issues clearly and concisely
  • Proven computer literate, with a proficiency in Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Knowledge of investment products and securities

Pay range

$82,700.00 - $115,100.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
