Summary:
We are looking for an SAP BTP Application Developer with a strong understanding of cloud-native development frameworks who can design and implement scalable applications on SAP BTP. The role requires the ability to translate business requirements into technically sound solutions aligned with Clean Core principles and propose best practices for extensibility and integration.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Build scalable applications using Node.js / Java with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
- Develop and expose APIs (OData / REST) aligned with SAP Clean Core guidelines
- Implement event-driven architectures using SAP Business Events and Event Mesh
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
- Propose and implement best-fit solution architecture based on business requirements
- Ensure adherence to SAP BTP development standards and governance
- Support CI/CD enablement and Git-based version control
- Collaborate with functional teams for fit-to-standard and extensibility use cases
- Participate in solution design discussions and technical assessments

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience in SAP BTP application development
- Strong understanding of CAP (Node.js or Java)
- Experience in developing applications using BAS
- API development and integration exposure
- Knowledge of SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) is an advantage
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development
- Understanding of event-driven architecture and integration patterns
- Experience with Git and DevOps practices
- Exposure to RAP / CDS-based extensibility is a plus


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BTP Application Development.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
