Assist with the planning, organization, and day-to-day operation of the patient care unit to meet the goals of Monument Health as well as meet the requirements of the Joint Commission, and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. Promote divisional and departmental goals and objectives in accordance with established policies. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirement relative to his/her age-specific needs. Requires the ability to multi-task, enforce accountability and promote professionalism among the staff that report to them. Certification - Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Preferred:
Experience - 3+ years of Supervisor Experience; 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
Certification - Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) - Accredited University or accredited training professionals
