Sabre is seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team in Pakistan as a Software Quality Engineer II. The successful applicant debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

  • Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.  

  • Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.  

  • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.  

  • Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.  

  • Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.  

  • Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

Qualifications and Education Requirements  

Must Have Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.  

  • 8-10 years of Manual and Automation testing experience. 

  • Hands on experience on automated testing.  

  • Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. 

  • Agile development and scrum concepts.  

  • Experience with JIRA 

  • Estimate, plan, execute and manage the testing efforts for our products. 

  • Develop, review and maintain artifacts produced during the STLC. 

  • Work on end-to-end SDLC, agile testing methodologies and test phases including unit, integration, system, regression and performance testing. 

  • Create detailed test cases and test scripts. 

  • Translate the requirements or user stories into test scripts. 

  • Communicate effectively with development teams to get the issues resolved and addressed. 

  • Hands on experience on UI testing.  

  • Basic SQL knowledge 

 

Nice To Have Skills: 

  • 8-10 years of hands-on software testing experience (Web & App). 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer Engineering 

  • Solid hands-on experience with framework development and ability to achieve end-to-end automation of workflows.
