Job Description Summary

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets;

  • Manage, coach, and develop frontline manufacturing employees, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement;

  • Plan and coordinate departmental activities to ensure operational reliability, process consistency, and efficient execution of production schedules;

  • Apply technical expertise and analytical problem-solving skills to address complex manufacturing challenges and drive process improvements;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational strategies, share best practices, and achieve business objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in CVT manufacturing and production supervision within an industrial environment;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field;

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing manufacturing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management;

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, quality standards, safety requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies;

  • Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
