Job Description:

Role title:  Enrolled Nurse (Year 1 - 5)

Role type: Max term contract part time (16 hours per week until Aug 2026)

Department and location: Renal Ambulatory Care, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst

Salary:  $65,024.93 - $70,655.00 (pro-rata) + super

About the role

  • The Renal Ambulatory Care (RAC) department is made up of acute haemodialysis, satellite dialysis and peritoneal dialysis home training.

  • You will be pivotal in supporting our clinical team, patients and their families.

  • The unit is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator, Renal Nurse Practitioner, Renal Transplant CNC, Peritoneal Dialysis CNC and Renal Supportive Care CNC.

  • You will be expected to work towards gaining an extended scope of practice to provide nursing care to patients receiving haemodialysis in the outpatient setting.

  • RAC is in operation Monday to Saturday, 07:00 - 21:30.

About you

  • Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse medication endorsed with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • A minimum of two year’s Enrolled Nurse experience within a hospital environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.

  • Strong communication skills.
