Job Summary

    The Principal Account Executive is a high‑impact, consultative sales leader responsible for driving new business and expanding long‑term partnerships within the healthcare staffing ecosystem. This role focuses on selling SaaS‑based VMS solutions by engaging senior decision‑makers, understanding complex workforce challenges, and delivering scalable solutions that improve visibility, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will be serving as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations navigating contingent workforce complexity.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Build and grow strategic client relationships with healthcare executives, procurement leaders, and workforce stakeholders
    • Drive net‑new revenue by identifying target accounts, uncovering opportunities, and introducing new VMS and service offerings
    • Act as the end‑to‑end subject matter expert for VMS solutions, guiding clients through value realization and adoption
    • Manage and forecast a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring sustained growth as demand and volume scale
    • Execute outbound prospecting strategies, conduct onsite and virtual client meetings, and lead solution‑based presentations
    • Partner cross‑functionally with implementation, product, and client success teams to ensure seamless onboarding
    • Increase market share by positioning AMN’s service offerings as the preferred workforce technology solution
    • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with third‑party organizations to expand reach and revenue channels
    • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and performance reporting for leadership visibility

    Qualifications

    Education & Years of Experience

    • Associate's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7-9 years of work experience

    • Experience within healthcare staffing, workforce solutions, or technology sales
    • Working knowledge of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and contingent labor models
    • Familiarity with enterprise healthcare buyers, managed service programs (MSP), or staffing suppliers a plus

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

      Pay Rate

      $101,000 - $126,000 Salary

      Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.

      This position may include additional compensation such as bonus or commission.  Please ask your recruiter for more information.
