As a Treasury Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving essential activities within the department. You will lead a dynamic team in Manila responsible for executing strategic treasury transactions, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency, minimizing transaction costs, and implementing cutting-edge controls. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to cultivate strong partnerships across internal teams (Corporate Finance & Global Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, and IT) and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, IT service providers).
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Treasury professionals and ensure excellent onboarding and development of the team.
Drive the centralization of bank system usage and act as a global bank administrator for locally used banks portals.
Drive the support for the Master Data team for questions around bank master data and establish data governance for globally used bank data.
Be owner of the local cash disposition on entity level and ensure that liquidity is available for daily operations.
Execute needed Treasury transfers to avoid interest costs due to overdrafts.
Align with Global Treasury team in Germany the needed funding of the cash pools.
Be responsible for the monthly cash position reporting for all entities in scope of the GBS Team.
Suggest appropriate funding and investment actions in alignment with global Capital Markets team.
Execute FX transactions for the operational payments in foreign currencies in alignment with global Capital Markets team.
Support the Treasury Accounting activities for North America and Germany.
Be the single point of contact for regional relationship manager of global bank partners.
Be responsible for the end-to-end processing of transactions for Inhouse Bank and global netting engine.
Perform payment service for all markets globally including tax, customs & supplier payments.
Support the German and North American Treasury team regarding internal controls and internal / external audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g. bank experience in a global bank)
Has 7+ years of solid relevant experience in treasury, banking, or treasury consultancy, with a focus on daily treasury operations (payments & cash)
Has 3-4 years of experience in a leadership role
Experience in using SAP (incl. TRM module) and/or S4 Hana.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in time.
Possesses effective communication skills and is a driver of strong relationships, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse teams and external partners.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about Treasury and its related processes
A Master’s degree and certification (i.e. Certified Treasury Professional) is preferred but not required
