Sams Club MAP is an ad tech startup inside one of the worlds largest and most successful companies—Walmart. Were building a retail media and retail experience network, helping brands and advertisers engage Sams Club members at the right moment, using data on millions of transactions.

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Strategy who excels at executing strategic plans and removing obstacles to achieve our vision. Reporting to the VP of Sam's Club MAP, this role involves leading cross-functional initiatives, driving transformational change, and ensuring strategic execution. 

What you'll do...

Develop Organizational Vision and Strategic Execution:

• Perform industry and market analysis.
• Define metrics to track performance.
• Communicate the organizational vision and strategic execution plan.
• Develop decision-making frameworks.
• Communicate progress and measures of success to senior leadership, key stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives impacting team processes.
• Oversee the development of business programs and initiatives.

Oversee Change Initiatives:

• Identify and define transformational change and processes.
• Validate value and priority.
• Oversee project plans to implement processes.
• Assess readiness for change and manage expectations.
• Adjust approaches to ensure change is adopted by the entire organization.
• Ensure timely project management from pilot to the execution stage.

Provide Overall Direction:

• Analyze business objectives and customer needs.
• Develop, communicate, build support for, and implement business strategies, plans, and practices.
• Analyze costs and forecasts, incorporating them into business plans.
• Evaluate operational processes and measure outcomes to ensure desired results.
• Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives and driving business growth.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
