Job Summary

Maintains ongoing compliance with all regulations that affect the Human Resources function and communicates any changes to the management team. Administrative and strategic responsibilities that relate to the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, onboarding, talent management, performance management, engagement, and other Human Resources functions. Manages the compiling of all statistical information used for reporting of performance and regulatory compliance. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. Responsible for assisting in designing and delivering the programs, initiatives, and experiences that that bring the Comcast Culture to life. With a focus on organizational health, and using a constant two-way feedback loop, key people and business data, our Employee Experience team is committed to creating a WINNING employee experience built on delivering a better workplace that supports each phase of the employees’ journey. The Employee Experience Partnerships & Programs HR Generalist will coordinate across cross functional internal and external resources to ensure programs are within scope, within budget and on schedule.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary HR Business Partner for Division Communications, Public Relations and Government Affairs.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports in relation to the department's established goals.
  • Investigates employee complaints and assists in the resolution of employee issues.
  • Supports leadership planning and responds to feedback from management and employees through various sources including surveys, suggestions and employee advisory groups.
  • Assists in administering performance reviews, meeting with both the employee and the employee's manager and thoroughly documenting the entire process.
  • Serves as initial point-of -contact for Company's employee issues and inquiries and Company policies.
  • Tracks and maintains all records, ensuring that the hiring remains compliant with the U.S. EEOC.
  • Responsible for developing, designing and managing programs and initiatives focused on the employee experience.
  • Drives the development and implementation of key goals, objectives and success criteria for the program. Build processes to promote ongoing and organic focus on employee experience.  Ensures clear communication and alignment with stakeholder and delivery teams.
  • Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Monitors and ensures quality of program deliverables.
  • Works with senior staff members to identify and obtain participation from required cross-functional core team members, including broader HR COE team, Central Division HR Partners, Functional Business Partners, Communications team, and matrixed project managers.
  • High level of skill and comfort delivering training and facilitating discussions with employees at all levels.
  • Skilled executor with passion for the employee experience.
  • Exhibits a growth mindset - ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high degree of change, ability to pivot and adapt quickly.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
