3M is looking for an UX Specialist (Intermediate User Experience Designer) to join our Global Service Centre based in Heredia. Join 3M and  be part of what’s next!

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Owner to understand the teams vision and translate that to solve customer and business problems.
• Ability to efficiently and independantly create deliverables (Flows, wireframes, designs, prototypes, etc.) to enable development of the changes for the release.
• Ability to review current page and improvement request or ideas sketches and apply UX industry best practices to refine the design deliverable.
• Proficiency working in a rapid production environment, while ensuring quality of deliverables.
• Proficiency being the embedded UX representative on a cross-functional product team, while maintaining alignment with the broader UX organization.
• Work through complexities from multiple systems and content sources with minimal guidance.
• Partner with researchers to plan, provide preliminary research, create assets to support and take notes in research studies with customers.
• Partner with development team members and participate in Agile activities to ensure understanding and feasibility of the user experience.
• Leverage Design System for efficiency and consistency, assisting in defining new elements when needed.
• Communicate project risks to Product Owner or UX Manager or as needed.
• Actively participate in UX peer reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to ensure quality and consistent experiences across digital products.
• Desire to continually learn and improve your skills through sharing and mentorship with other UX team members.
• Embody 3M culture and values.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in UX, Human Factors, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3-6 years combined experience as Information Architect, User Experience or Interaction Design role.
• Minimum 3-6 years' experience with wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Axure, or similar.
• Minimum 2 year experience with Agile development, including scrum ceremonies.
• Business fluency in Spanish & English
• Portfolio with Digital link.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Dual Track Agile or Lean UX
• Strong time management and ability to be self-directed
• Experience with Design and Prototyping tools such as InVision, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar tool.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Miro, Mural, or similar tool.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Workfront, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills
