Innovation and AutomationEngineer 2
Responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.
Your role:
Lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and production support activities while implementing sustainable corrective actions, code modifications, and process improvements to enhance reliability and reduce recurrence.
Drive product and sub-assembly development initiatives, including NPI participation, PCB/circuit design, CAD modeling, testing, and successful transfer of solutions into production.
Develop end-to-end software and automation solutions using LabVIEW, C++, Java, Python, and PLCs to support test control, data collection, analysis, and manufacturing efficiency.
Plan and execute validation, compliance, quality, and change management activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, TMV, R&R, software validation, Windchill changes, technical documentation, NCBs, NCRs, CAPAs, and TrackWise investigations.
Lead medium-sized improvement and innovation projects, perform financial and performance analysis, create technical training programs, standardize processes, and coordinate knowledge transfer across Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams with a high degree of autonomy.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, testing, or engineering environments.
Strong technical background in troubleshooting, problem-solving, technical writing, and leading maintenance technicians, with effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficient in computer applications and engineering tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PCB design software, and knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, PLCs, and equipment repair.
Experience with software development and automation technologies, including C++, LabVIEW, Java, SQL databases, and computer hardware/software systems.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
