The BOP Director, reports to the China Marketing Enablement & Commercial Operation Lead, will support the China Marketing Enablement and Commercial Operation Lead to ensure operation excellence cross BUs to support China business growth. In the meanwhile, he/she will also be the strategic business operation partner (BOP) to ONC BUGM and Lung Cancer LT to drive operation excellence.
Partners with ONC BUGM and LC Leadership team and helps ensure future-oriented solutions to business day-to-day fundamentals are provided:
Sit in BU LT and be the primary interface between BU and commercial operation capabilities.
Deeply understand LC business priorities from both strategic view and execution excellence
Effectively mobilize commercial operation capabilities (CFCD, IC, OCE, Quality, Review & Approval) to fulfill day-to-day fundamental business needs, including but not limited to:
CFCD: territory adjustment, FF deployment and optimization, target, listing/FF productivity/behavior tracking etc.
IC: incentive plan analysis and design
OCE: channel operation for HCP engagement
Quality, Review & Approval: consultation
Anticipate business needs and highlight areas of potential opportunities that CO could support the business’s evolving needs.
Drive/coordinate/support customized business analysis in collaboration with MKT/Sales/BAI.
Support and validate CO related key assumptions during BP/OP.
Collaborate with cross teams under CO to empower business with strategic marketing models:
Deeply understand brand strategy and hold CoLab success as brand’s strategic partner.
Deeply understand Adobe capabilities and strategic values then define its strategic position to specific brands.
Collaborate with cross-functions to activate the CoLab/Adobe model on brand level and ensure an efficient operation.
Continued monitoring the feedbacks and generating insights for future optimization.
Drive Marketing excellence by effectively leveraging CMO capabilities:
Define brand level capabilities needs/gaps and support Marketing capabilities building by introducing and localizing global tools/ platforms/ materials.
Coordinate an aligned and efficient approach for BP.
Continued monitoring the feedbacks and generating insights for future optimization.
Ensures China business demand is managed and fulfilled with excellence and drive strategic overarching operation optimization projects:
Identifies common service needs within the China business to assist with developing solutions across the region and other BUs.
Understands and anticipates business needs anddemand for Biopharma Ops services to satisfy business needs.
Work closely with business/ Function senior leaders to regularly review and identify commons issues across different BUs in terms of methodology, SOP, and system.
Mobilize vertical teams to define future oriented solutions and streamline operation services.
Monitors satisfaction and devises measures to increase client satisfaction from gained insights.
Identifies how CO can continuously evolve its service delivery model consistent against the demands of the business.
Team culture enhancement and development:
Define and drive strategic initiatives to maintain the CO China team culture echoing the Pfizer core values and the six actionable attributes.
Work with the China Marketing Enablement and Commercial Operation Lead to define capabilities needed for BOPs and CO team and the CO team is equipped with the required capabilities
Organize regular team learnings, workshops, joy sessions etc.
Qualifications:
• BA Required; MBA or equivalent Master’s-level education preferred
• 10+ years in the commercial pharmaceutical business in China
Strong business acumen; Oncology experience as a plus
• Track record of delivering business performance; Marketing experience as a plus
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and analytical skills
Proven experience of working with senior leaders
• Extensive experience leading through matrix teams
• Drive for optimization/excellence w/ clear prioritization
• Outstanding ability to drive collaboration and foster highly productive, functional relationships
• Delivery of exceptional customer services and experiences
• Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines
• Good knowledge of bio pharma sector trends, global healthcare dynamics and economics, customer
