Overview 
We're looking for a full stack developer to join our Fixed Income Technology team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that support our FI investment strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow their skills by working across the stack at the intersection of finance and technology. 
 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and enhance applications that support trading, portfolio management, and analytics for Fixed Income teams.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using Python (Flask, Streamlit, Dash, Fast API) 
  • Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests following test-driven development (TDD) principles 
  • Design and optimize SQL database schemas and queries; ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms 
  • Participate in code reviews and document technical designs, APIs, and system architecture to ensure maintainability 
  • Troubleshoot, resolve and implement solutions for production issues to improve system reliability 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and best practices in software development 

 
Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) 
  • 3-4 years of professional software development experience, ideally full stack
  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience building RESTful APIs 
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling (Snowflake, MS SQL Server)
  • Demonstrated ability to write unit tests, data tests, integration tests, and experience with test-driven development 
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams 
  • Able to use AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity while maintaining strong independent coding and debugging skills. Basic understanding of equities markets, financial instruments (stocks, bonds, derivatives), and investment workflows 
  • Experience with Fast API, Azure DevOps and Kubernetes/OpenShift 
  • Experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript 
  • Familiarity with microservices, architecture and distributed systems 
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies 
  • Ability to rapidly absorb new concepts, technologies, and domain knowledge in the financial services space 
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code 
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to mentor others and learn from senior team members 
  • Proactive approach to identifying problems and driving solutions
