Job Description:

As a Product Marketing Consultant, you will join a dynamic team and be working with our Sales Teams located in  Australia and Japan. You will be working with them to support our Sales executions plans and managing the  Earthmoving Products Portfolio (EMD) which is made of Medium Wheel Loaders (MWL), Motor Graders (MG), Medium Track Type Tractors (TTTMD) and Track Type Loaders (TTL). In this role you will demonstrate your Consultative Skills along with your Sales & Marketing expertise to influence decisions and make recommendations that will support our strategic goals and contribute to the Global Construction Infrastructure Division (GCI) long-term market leadership in these 2 regions.

 

Job Duties:

  • Engage and work closely with the GCI Sales Team in Australia and Japan to provide recommendation on commercial programs that would later be released to dealers and communicated to customers in the market. You will be accountable to managing the commercial budget throughout the year to best optimize sales results.

  • Support the GCI industry field teams in their day-to-day business, Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP) and develop analysis to provide your best forecast estimate to the Sales Managers.

  • Engage, support and lead medium term strategies through projects, presentations and training to support our goals in sustaining market leadership in these 2 regions.

  • Engage and collaborate with internal partners, such as the Earthmoving Product Groups, to provide them insights and Sales performance updates in both regions for the respective EMD Product Families.

  • Partner with the Product Application Specialists (PAS) to create holistic product positioning proposals (technically & Commercially) to support sales training and value selling to customers.

 

Generally, the role requires about 25% travel within assigned territories to drive collaboration with the sales teams and understand regional business conditions.


Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Sales & Marketing or relevant industry experience

  • Strong communication skills to develop collaborative/cooperative work relationships

  • Good knowledge of the Sales & Operations Planning Process

  • Strong analytical skills to provide commercial recommendations
