The IT Quality Tech Lead Analyst is a senior-level professional with deep expertise in quality assurance within IT. This individual plays a crucial role in shaping the quality strategy by leveraging industry knowledge and applying it to both their role and the broader business context. As a recognized technical authority, the analyst provides essential guidance on key projects, driving performance and impact across the business. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence both internal teams and, occasionally, external stakeholders. The role contributes to significant deliverables that impact overall performance and effectiveness within the sub-function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead functional, automation, and regression testing, particularly for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product rollouts into production.
Collaborate with project managers, UAT teams, and users to design and execute testing strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Conduct complex process monitoring, product evaluations, and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Stay current with industry trends, applying best practices to improve existing quality frameworks.
Communicate process changes to various management levels and ensure standards and procedures are thoroughly documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle.
Monitor product conformance to standards and identify process risks, ensuring corrective actions are documented and completed.
Perform root cause analyses and recommend enhancements to existing procedures. Collaborate with technology teams to create new quality standards and procedures.
Ensure traceability in project work products and maintain reporting on quality metrics.
Mentor and advise junior team members, providing expertise and guidance.
Analyze business requirements, execute tests, and ensure all applications meet QA policies and standards.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience in IT Quality roles with strong technical and strategic expertise.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of IT Quality best practices, testing processes, and industry standards.
In-depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle, particularly in testing program management.
Expertise in automation tools such as UFT, Selenium, and Python.
Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) systems, including Mantas, Actimize, and experience with tools like Jira.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and confidence in decision-making.
