Job Summary:
The Financial Systems Process Manager serves as a liaison between IT and the finance business users for oversight of production support, EDI Enablement, Robotics, and special projects. The primary responsibility is to support business users with prioritization of finance system production defects, enhancements, and process improvements outside of portfolio projects. This includes prioritization, managing timeline and working with business teams/shared services to update documentation related to any process changes as a result. Additionally, the manager will serve as owner of communication of process changes related to portfolio projects that impact finance processes managed by shared services.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Function as a primary lead on support for the business and provide leadership direction and mentoring to the business users.
• Manage two financial systems analysts to ensure all daily support needs of the business are being addressed including but not limited to IDOC errors, batch monitoring, sales processing and Winshuttle scripts.
• Manage the senior finance systems analyst with prioritization of Robotics Process Automation and be change champion of Citizens Development within Finance organization.
• Work with director to manage any special projects based on project list for year combined with skill sets.
• Manage the finance intake process for production defects working with IT team to bring to resolution.
• Work with project team to ensure appropriate hand off on projects to provide production support to business users on new finance projects.
• Development of stakeholder communication strategy, effective end user communications, and training related to system enhancements or changes in business processes (finance and shared service impacts for finance processes)
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8-10 years’ experience managing process teams.
• Experience as a Project Manager is helpful, being able to bring teams together and drive results on time.
• Strong Communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
• Strong knowledge within the retail industry preferably with SAP
• Ability to manage a high volume of work, multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with an aptitude for self-learning
• Continuous improvement experience including lean six sigma certification preferred
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
