About the Role

To strengthen our Core Diagnostics team, we are seeking an agile, analytical, and customer‑focused Product Specialist.
In this role, you will be at the intersection of marketing, sales, medical affairs, product development, and customer engagement, contributing to the success of Abbott’s Core Diagnostics portfolio in the Benelux.

You will play a key role in shaping product performance, identifying market opportunities, and supporting strategic decisions that improve the value we deliver to laboratories and healthcare professionals.

What You Will Be Responsible For

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to support strategic positioning in the IVD landscape.
• Evaluate product performance and customer feedback, translating insights into actionable improvements.
• Monitor sales performance and forecasts, identifying opportunities for commercial optimization.
• Support product launches, ensuring internal teams and customers are fully aligned.
• Develop deep product expertise by working closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Service teams.
• Assist in supply flow management, maintaining clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Contribute to events, workshops, and congresses, strengthening Abbott’s visibility and customer relationships.

Your Key Stakeholders

You will collaborate with:

• Internal: Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Regional/Global Product Management
• External: Clinical biologists, lab managers, procurement organizations, hospital administrators, and other diagnostics industry partners

Market Context

The Core Diagnostics market is rapidly evolving. Laboratories are moving toward automation, integration, standardization, and data-driven decision making. In this context, your role will support:

What You Bring

• University degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
• Preferably experience in IVD, MedTech, healthcare, or product management/marketing/commercial roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
