CACI is seeking a Project Lead for our enterprise level engineering team.  You will oversee all efforts of the team and act as the primary facilitator, communicator and coordinator between the team and our customer, program managers, leads, and stakeholders. You will manage the tasking, integration, and coordination for endpoint, platform, infrastructure, and network engineering. You will keep your projects on course while tracking their progress and anticipating their needs. You will be responsible for overseeing product development and engineering functions at the enterprise level.  Responsibilities may include overseeing the creation, development, and design of the products, engineering services, and research function. Other duties may include planning, directing, and controlling all activities through group leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical projects in large, complex IT environments.

  • Define, design, develop, test, and implement IT processes and services.

  • Lead and manage engineering teams to successfully design and maintain the organization’s computing platform.

  • Provision, manage, deploy, and secure endpoints, with both on-premise and cloud management options.

  • Create and monitor computer networks on behalf of individual clients and organizations, ensuring that devices have stable connections and network data remains secure.

  • Track progress against enterprise plans.

  • Translate, analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and graphical formats.

  • Apply best practices in project management, including those used to initiate, plan, control, monitor, and report upon all phases of project to the Project Management Office and customer.

  • Actively distinguish problems and assist in implementing solutions.

  • Adapt processes to improve inefficiencies and accelerate product/capability development.

  • Proactively identify and resolve time sensitive project risks, issues, interdependencies, and conflicts, both within and across business units and initiatives, and coordinate implementation.

  • Manage operational aspects of the enterprise program, which include multiple ongoing projects in support of multiple major, corporate strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably (BA/BS) in an IT related field.

  • Active TS/SCI with poly

  • 10+ years of related work experience.

  • Experience managing a large team or multiple small teams consisting of both experienced professionals and managers.

  • Strong technical background with knowledge of servers, systems architecture, and networking.

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and familiarity with cloud technologies.

  • Experience influencing others outside of job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Knowledge of IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends, particularly relevant to the design of large-scale IT environments.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • PMP.

  • Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner.

  • Microsoft Azure Certifications.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
