Summary of the Position:
As the Strategic Sourcing Associate, you will report to the Senior Director of Indirect Procurement, and play a meaningful role in driving Tishman Speyer’s bottom-line savings through rigorous company-wide sourcing activities in partnership with senior leadership and internal business partners across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement and influence across property operations, facilities, corporate functions, and external partners to align on procurement strategies, navigate competing priorities, and drive organizational consensus on sourcing decisions
Work collaboratively with business leaders across multiple geographies to understand their needs, address concerns, and build buy-in for procurement initiatives and strategic sourcing changes
Develop and implement category strategies for TSP Corporate goods and services, with a focus on identifying long-term value creation opportunities beyond cost reduction, including service quality, innovation, and strategic alignment with business objectives
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships through the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, establishing partnerships that drive mutual value and support TSP's long-term procurement goals
Conduct strategic sourcing activities to optimize supplier performance, achieve meaningful cost savings, and strengthen competitive positioning
Own the maintenance, enhancement, and organization-wide adoption of the bid-to-contract procurement tool, managing change management across functions and driving modernization of procurement processes and practices
Drive adoption and training initiatives to ensure effective tool utilization across the organization and maximize value from technology investments
Actively manage the Procurement capability within TSP with primary goals of improving supplier performance, managing supplier relationships, and strengthening compliance to a rigorous sourcing process
Manage the request for proposal (RFP), bid issuance/bid submission, bid leveling, award, and contracting processes within Property Operations and TSP Corporate, ensuring strict adherence across the organization with clear rationale for business awards
Negotiate and execute contracts and purchase orders to support business needs
Establish and maintain measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) for all levels of procurement activities, to include supplier performance, supplier quality, internal order placement performance, and annualized savings on service contracts
Promote the use of existing procurement standard operating procedures and continuously identify areas for process improvement to ensure consistent adherence to standards
Adhere to policies (e.g., code of ethics), regulations, and laws (federal, state, and local) to ensure that organizational behavior is honest, ethical, and professional
Establish, implement, and enforce periodic reporting requirements to related Tishman Speyer management team
Skills & Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement, with category experience in, corporate services and facilities management.
Strong negotiating skills
Detailed-oriented with strong quantitative/analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving
Ability to work fluidly with various legal contract documents prescribed by the Company
Financial and accounting competency working with project job costing systems and purchase order systems
Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Production/Operations Management, Business, or Engineering preferred (or equivalent business experience).
Strong computer skills, including MS Excel and ideally with experience using software programs for RFP solicitation, bid leveling and contract issuance. Experience with Python or dashboard tooling a plus but not required.
Demonstrated ability to leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven tools, to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation.
Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the Company simultaneously to achieve objectives

The base compensation range for this role is $95,000 to $115,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
