Business Operations Manager – Manufacturing & Safety

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the Manufacturing & Safety Business Integration team located in Berkeley, Missouri

The Business Operations team is seeking a leader to manage the Core Business Operations team and associated statement of work. In this position, you will work directly with the various leaders within Manufacturing & Safety and report to the Business Operations Sr. Manager.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Manage a multi-faceted and distributed team with complex statement of work across various organizations with competing priorities
  • Lead the application and execution of Program Management Best Practices.
  • Replicate, standardize and communicate Best Practices
  • Align with program priorities and utilizing Program Management Best Practices to establish and utilize an overarching IMIS
  • Ensure standard and consistent Operating Rhythm to address recurring and emergent priorities integrated with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Develop, integrate, and coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill business goals, objectives and strategies
  • Identify, document, and ensure plans are in place to mitigate Risks, Issues, and capture Opportunities
  • Identify and communicate cost, quality, schedule, and safety imperatives
  • Provide information on commitments and compliance to plan. Ensures development and execution of follow up actions for issue resolution
  • Develop and strengthen the team, identity talent pipelines and required training.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ years of experience with business integration
  • 5+ years of experience with program/project management
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • 3+ years of experience working with executive leadership teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Excellent business acumen, written and verbal skills, and ability to solve complex problems
  • Analytics skills

Summary pay range: $96-900 – $131,100 USD
