JLL’s Marketing and Business Development team (internally referred to as Sales Enablement) is a function that is focused on winning new business for clients and prospects by:
Partner with client facing team members to create the story, develop content, and translate key themes in a visual and engaging way
Project manage deliverables for meetings, proposals, and pitches
Ensure best practices and resources are utilized as part of the broader JLL platform
Position Summary

In this important role, you will coordinate with cross-functional internal stakeholders in the preparation of complex proposals and presentations, supporting the pursuit process from strategy and content development through review, production, and evaluation. This high-visibility role calls for a confident and creative communications professional with excellent strategic-thinking, writing, project management, analytical and collaboration skills. If you are self-directed and have experience in a deadline-driven environment; are a quick learner, a team player, organized and detail oriented – you will excel at JLL.
Project manage pursuit/pitch development, including development of a workplan to ensure RFP responses are submitted clearly, concisely and in compliance with all solicitation requirements.
Organize, attend, and contribute to preparation meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
Develop content through original writing and the adaption of pre-formulated content.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of internal client.
Drive brand consistency while addressing specific clients’ needs.
Write the executive summary and key themes for major pursuits, in association with pursuit team.
Help develop and communicate win themes, strategies, and graphic design approaches.
Produce or facilitate the production of relevant and impactful graphics that reinforce key messaging.
Support the preparation of all deliverables related to the opportunity (e.g., Yellow Pads, BAFO, etc.).
Maximize JLL’s internal, global network supporting an integrated approach to the creation of creative and customized solutions.
Participate in client-facing yellow pad sessions to help diagnose client needs and propose bespoke solutions.
Facilitate debrief session with pursuit team to document lessons learned. Adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
Tracks, measures, and report on performance metrics (win rate, trends, and insights).
Complete due diligence and competitive analyses for pursuits including research and analytics.
Understand and analyze industry trends and competitive activity.
Maintain a library of pitches/presentations, standard marketing collateral materials, case studies, biographies, and knowledge management efforts to aid in client acquisition.
Identify new ways to present material to improve pitches and proposals; and maintain an internal best-in-class library of creative marketing materials/approaches.
Ability to lead through influence.
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable in a high-pressure environment that requires concise decision making.
Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, possessing the courage to share unpopular position in the sales process when appropriate.
Work cross functionally - sellers, leadership, operations, research, marketing, graphic design, communications, and technology teams.
Proactive and positive approach to challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years in proposal management, content writing, marketing and/or communications.
Understanding of construction management, owner’s representation, project management and/or AEC.
High emotional intelligence.
Ability to work successfully in a service-oriented, matrixed environment.
Strong organizational skills, detail focused with tenacious follow up skills.
Ability to translate broad concepts and ideas into clear and logical communications including graphics.
High degree of energy, assertiveness, and creativity.
Ability to produce multiple deliverables quickly, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce.

Estimated compensation for this position:
100,000.00 – 125,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
