The Opportunity
Manages or performs work associated with the procurement and supply and logistics of manufacturing materials including: Materials Requirements Planning. Materials Procurement/Purchasing. Materials Inventory Planning & Control. Materials Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
How you’ll make an impact
- Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
- To lead a team of planners and buyers to fulfill the requirements of internal and external customers and ensure incoming quality of the material.
- Liaisoning between internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage best-practices with scheduling materials planning to keep RM inventory within control and align business processes for maximum factory efficiency.
- Development of suppliers for more cost effectiveness.
- Commercial finalization of service contracts to execute internal projects on time.
- Inventory performance analyses and control withing given target
- Manage obsolete inventory withing target
- Capacity Planning and master scheduling of jobs
- Co-ordinating SCM, Procurement, OH and Production to ensure that projects move as per contractual commitments of customer.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or Diploma Electrical/Mechanical engineering
- Around 15 to 20 years relevant experience in project management / Order management
- Excellent communications / analytical and problem-solving skill with ability to manage multiple tasks
- SAP and MS Office knowledge is required.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
