ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship.

  • Provides stewardship for weekly gift acknowledgements
  • Tracks and maintains recognition for Marymount University’s giving societies
  • Works with the Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving to provide stewardship for giving campaigns and alumni events
  • Works with Financial Aid to ensure scholarships are awarded as well as manage the donor thank you letter process
  • Manages ThankView donor stewardship

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS:

  • Occasional events
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in communications, English, public relations, or equivalent degree)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience drafting and writing business correspondence
  • Demonstrated experience using databases/CRMs, such as Raiser’s Edge
  • Demonstrated experience with recognition programs
  • Ability to work on projects with competing deadlines

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Essential to perform in the role

Knowledge of and ability to follow university policies and procedures.

Ability to demonstrate exceptional service in alignment with Serve with Purpose; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the campus community.

Microsoft Office 365 includes proficient skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
