What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using React (frontend) and Spring Boot (backend microservices)

• Build, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning

• Develop and manage Kafka-based event streaming pipelines for real-time data processing and inter-service communication

• Deploy, manage, and operate containerized workloads on Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA) environments

• Configure and maintain ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging, monitoring, and observability

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, technical grooming, and delivery estimation

• Champion engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding standards

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience with full-stack development

• Strong proficiency in React.js including hooks, state management (Redux/Context API), and responsive UI development

• Deep expertise in Spring Boot building RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns

• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL data modelling, query optimization, indexing strategies, and migrations

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka producers, consumers, topic management, and stream processing

• Experience deploying and managing applications on ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift on AWS) or equivalent Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms

• Proficiency with ELK Stack setting up indices, dashboards, log pipelines, and alerting in Kibana

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native design patterns

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins ) and containerization (Docker)

• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress)

• Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus

Nice to Have

• AWS certifications or hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, MSK, S3)

• Experience with Prompt Engineering and AI code assist tools

• Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, or service mesh technologies (Istio)

• Exposure to observability platforms beyond ELK (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger)
