Processing Technician - Automated Lab/Central Processing Unit - Nights

Bring your talents to our tight-knit team, and provide the support our Automated Laboratory technologists need to complete tests that drive high-quality care and caring. Register patients, process requisition forms and perform accessioning functions. Collect patient specimens through venipuncture and other methods. Conduct centrifugation. Separate samples into aliquots. Label specimens, and distribute them to appropriate laboratory sections for testing. Launch your career into the dynamic world of the clinical laboratory.

This is a night shift position working 12:00 am - 8:00 am, including alternate weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2 years experience in specimen processing

• Prior data entry experience

$30.46-$37.34/Hourly
