HarbourVest Advisers L.P. is seeking a Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, Commercial Operations, based in Boston, MA, USA. In this role, you will develop fundraising reporting and dashboards and deliver analytics and insight to support Investor Relations and Commercial Operations, making a significant impact on our ambitious goals.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

  • Exceptionally skilled in developing standardized fundraising dashboards in Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Proven to have experience with query tools such as SQL.
  • Meticulous with the ability to automate critical metric tracking.
  • Adept at partnering with business leaders to deliver insightful analysis.
  • Ambitious and motivated to successfully implement new initiatives.
  • Capable of storytelling with data

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain fundraising reporting and dashboards in Salesforce, PowerBI and other tools.
  • Streamline the process of tracking critical metrics.
  • Support business leaders with actionable insights.
  • Analyze data to identify and target potential LPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BI tools.
  • And other responsibilities as required.

What you bring:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com reporting.
  • Experience with BI tools or visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Proficiency in query languages like SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of data-driven decision-making.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in automating processes and improving operational efficiency.
  • Experience in supporting go-to-market strategies with data insights.

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
  • Master of Science (M.S) or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 5-8 Years experience in a capacity preferred
