Job Description Summary:
The Strategic Accounts Sales Support Coordinator will provide support to the commercial account managers and other business stakeholders by assisting with general inquiries, reporting needs, issue resolution, and executing key tasks. This person is also responsible for all phases of the RFP process including coordinating activities to deliver responses for national proposals as well as all activities to support development/prospect accounts. The role requires interfacing with key contacts within Airgas, key corporate customer contacts and suppliers.
Manage and respond to incoming requests from customers (primarily internal, some external)
Diagnose and determine needs by asking appropriate questions
Requests may include but are not limited to:
Report generation and analysis
Coordination of new account set-up, changes, &/or customer master information changes
Quote/bid requests
Coordination of customer credit review or other order-to-cash process requests
Coordinate and manage elements of the business proposal process (RFP) such as:
Assist in the development and approach to bid responses and bid packages
Oversee final assembly and delivery of RFP to customer
Publish files according to SOP
Coordinate deliverables between stakeholders for proposals, presentations and data/survey analysis
Communicate with key stakeholders (internal and external), share information as needed, and provide timely progress reports on outstanding requests
Promote adoption of best practices within the Business Management Team that are in alignment with Strategic Account profitability goals
Identify and communicate process improvement areas
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company
Maintain documentation of and development of processes
Special or other duties as assigned
Required:
2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience required, with an emphasis in Excel or Google Sheets
Prior experience manipulating datasets and analyzing data from multiple sources
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
Knowledge of industrial, medical and specialty gasses, welding and safety products
