Our new site in Czechowice-Dziedzice is a leading company dealing in the development of innovative drive components for electromobility. We are a pioneer of these technologies in Poland, thanks to which we contribute to ensuring a clean, low-emission future in the automotive industry.

Currently for our Valeo Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice we recruit Project Buyer.

Your Challenges:

• Lead the project sourcing process in close collaboration with Project Management, Engineering and Commodity Teams

• Define and execute sourcing strategies aligned with Group and Segment strategies

• Manage RFQ / RFX processes, including commercial alignment and support of technical discussions to identify cost, quality and design optimization opportunities

• Select and manage the supplier bid-list in line with approved Segment Panels and bundle opportunities

• Assess supplier risks (capacity, technical maturity, quality performance, financial sustainability) and define mitigation plans with cross-functional teams

• Drive supplier nomination and ensure alignment with project targets (cost, timing, quality)

• Negotiate and finalize development and serial contracts in accordance with Group Purchasing Standards

• Ensure achievement of all project purchasing milestones (RFQ, sourcing, tooling, prototypes, pre-series and SOP readiness)

• Pilot and forecast the Project Purchasing Index (PPI) and lead productivity and cost-reduction action plans

• Manage purchasing-related communication between project teams and suppliers, ensuring transparency and execution discipline

• Ensure a smooth handover to serial production, including implementation and tracking of productivity commitments

• Master degree in Science or Economics;

• 3+ years in Purchasing as Buyer;

• Experience in automotive sector;

• Fluent English and Polish;

• Very good communication skills
