The Senior Manager, Regional Security Operations is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a robust regional security program, which will identify specific risks and enable the development of risk mitigation strategies and operational improvements that will protect people, product, property, and McKesson's (McK) reputation. The Senior Manager will work collaboratively with other members of the Global Security & Safety team, and will successfully build, maintain, and strategically influence relationships across all areas of the company, particularly with corporate departments (HR/ER, Communications, Meeting & Event Services, Legal, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance and Real Estate) and BUs.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Security Operations / BU, Regional Area Support

  • Support the implementation of a robust security program which will identify specific risks and enable the development of risk mitigation strategies and operational improvements that will protect people, product, property, and McKesson's reputation.
  • Provide general security subject matter expertise to BUs.
  • Perform investigations as assigned; collaborate with Global Security Investigations as needed.
  • Provide support in the following areas: Crisis Management, Workforce disruption issues, Transportation security, ESS installation projects, Security Awareness training, ESS management/testing.
  • Assist with the coordination of contract security service support as appropriate.
  • Oversee supply chain security operations for McK distribution business units.
  • Ensure proper security protective measures are established for all high-value pharmaceutical shipments departing DCs.
  • Conduct annual security audits as a corporate risk control function to assess BU adherence with Global Security standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with BU leadership and other stakeholder groups, e.g., PSaS Transportation, Compliance, General Counsel Organization, HR, Employee Relations, Real Estate, Risk Management as needed, to help drive solutions to business matters that arise.
  • Coordinate with Global Security Protective Services team as directed for all senior executive, Board of Director, and VIP visits to the local market.

Site Security Officer Program

  • Ensure SSOs are assigned at all Distribution Centers in the region; maintain a current roster of SSOs for assigned locations.
  • Conduct regional training events on a quarterly basis.

Investigations

  • Complete investigations as assigned and ensure that investigative reports are entered within the appropriate case management reporting system.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the annual planning process to identify, evaluate and propose potential initiatives within Global Security and recommend to Department senior leadership for consideration.
  • Act as a thought partner to Global Security leaders to identify opportunities/issues and develop high-quality and actionable recommendations to support achievement of annual Goals and Objectives.
  • Provide relevant metrics data for the Senior Manager, Global Security Investigations and Data Analytics to ensure data is appropriately captured and resulting data insights are incorporated into the strategic planning process and reflected in security programming.

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university or a minimum of 7+ years equivalent work experience.

Business Experience/Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Security management experience with a history of strong performance across multiple security domains.
  • Experience conducting corporate security investigations in a large, matrixed environment or within an organization providing law enforcement, audit, and/or legal services.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and driving concurrently conducted projects to successful completion.
  • Experience in project management, organizational change, and/or process improvement.
  • Confident presenter and public speaker with effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to senior level executives and to prepare detailed investigative and business summaries which will be used to facilitate decisions.
  • Adept at working through ambiguity, putting structure around problems and tasks with limited guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy; effective at applying strategic and analytical thinking to deliver business insights; able to identify trends and patterns that contribute to improved processes.
  • Effective at establishing collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders including internal McKesson functional groups and local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as PSP, CPP preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.): May be remote or McKesson office location, based on business and operational needs.
  • Geographic Region:  GSS Central Region (includes MMS Central, PSaS Central)
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting, standing, etc.
  • May require up to 25% travel, based on business and operational needs.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$104,900 - $174,900
