Job Description Summary:
The director of government relations provides leadership to support the creation and implementation of OhioHealth's government relations strategy and advocacy agenda. This position is responsible for providing advocacy, leadership and developing collaborative partnerships with public officials and public health entities in the communities served by OhioHealth. The position is responsible for communicating and monitoring on public policy, legislation and regulations that could impact OhioHealth, its physicians and other health care professionals.Responsibilities And Duties:

Degree in Political science, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Journalism. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have senior level health care and Ohio Medicaid public policy Experience . Ability to understand public policy and government structures. Experience in dealing with public officials, legislative and rulemaking processes. Five years Experience in government affairs or a public government entity related to health care public policy.Work Shift:
