Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. You will be dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world-class systems running. With your deep product knowledge, you will accurately define client issues and design resolutions. Your typical day will involve providing ongoing support to clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth system operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their technical issues and concerns.
- Troubleshoot system and application problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure smooth system operations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously enhancing your product knowledge.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in system performance and functionality, proposing and implementing enhancements.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of systems and applications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Configuration Database & CI Management.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure management principles and best practices.
- Experience in managing configuration databases and maintaining accurate configuration item (CI) records.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and their application in CI management.
- Familiarity with IT asset management processes and tools.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Solid grasp of incident management and problem management processes.
- Experience in performing impact analysis and change management for configuration items.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Configuration Database & CI Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
