Introduction to the Job

The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, upgrade, repair and maintenance of ASML systems at customer sites, as well as the transfer of know‑how to the customer. Local CS branches perform these tasks within their regions.

Within CS, the EU EUV UIR (Upgrade, Install, and Relocation) team executes system upgrades, installations, and relocations, and provides technical support for other CS activities as needed. Tasks are mostly well-defined, carried out with a high degree of independence, and require limited supervision.

Role and Responsibilities

The SAP Coordinator is responsible for day‑to‑day coordination of a large part of a project to support the Project Lead and project teams in successfully realizing project deliverables. The role ensures that tasks and steps are completed on time and within budget and that resources are allocated effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all materials are available in the FAB on time for installations, upgrades, and Field Change Orders (FCOs).
  • Ensuring required tools and materials are available at the right time and place based on the daily plan of work.
  • Collaborating with the SCM team to ensure tooling preventive maintenance and calibrations are up to date.
  • Coordinating with SCM logistics for timely material returns to the laydown area.
  • Supporting SCM Material Quality to guarantee proper critical part packing and avoid damage or contamination.
  • Managing part and tool inventory and preparing proper material usage/return plans with machine owners.
  • Ensuring expired tools are returned on time and securing backup tools.
  • Coordinating with other ASML sectors for communication, resource sharing, and required support.
  • Managing SAP & SMS system transactions, maintaining the build‑in/build‑out list for correct system configuration.
  • Researching materials and material history in SAP, and escalating incorrectly structured materials.
  • Managing Service Orders’ aging status during SAP‑SMS material confirmation together with Service Coordinators.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred, or equivalent multi‑year experience.
  • Experience in the semiconductor field or as a logistics technician preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, service order processes, SAP or other ERP systems, and Planon is a plus.

Other Information

Travel:
Estimated travel is 60%, subject to adjustment as the organization evolves. Future travel depends on customer site needs across Europe. The role requires full commitment to working in Ireland or up to 75% travel to countries including (but not limited to) Israel, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Taiwan, Korea, and the USA. Visa eligibility is required.

Working Hours:
Nominal working hours are regular office hours. Shift work may be required to support projects and will be compensated with a shift allowance.
