Position Overview:

As part of the talented team, you will act as the primary point of contact for Mercury Marine consumers and is responsible for responding to negative CSI and Net Promoter Score surveys to convert detractors into promoters. Additionally, this position will support the Outboard and MerCruiser Consumer and Product Support teams as needed.

Essential Functions:

· Provide exceptional customer service to Mercury Marine customers

· Monitor and respond to negative CSI and Net Promoter Score surveys

· Monitor the Outboard and MerCruiser Consumer open call queues and respond to inquiries promptly

· Take ownership of customer complaints and follow them through to resolution

· Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions

· Respond to consumer inquiries to the Office of the President through appropriate channels

· Support Mercury Marine field service personnel as needed

· Participate in special and ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

· Working knowledge of Mercury Marine policies and procedures

· Must consistently exercise discretion and judgment to resolve issues of significance to Mercury Marine

· Remain respectful, courteous, and professional while interacting with various personality types in complex, often escalated, situations

· Strong desire to take own consumer interactions and drive them to resolution

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with little direct oversight

· Strong computer skills

· Strong work ethic

· Strong desire to learn and improve

Education and Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Prior customer service experience

Marine industry experience preferred
