Role Description

As our Senior Software Engineer, System Integrations, you will enable a seamless business process flow by leading the strategic planning, architecture, coding,  and implementation of integrations among our key ERP systems, including SAP, Coupa, Workday, Salesforce, and additional systems. Google Apigee will be central to your role as our primary middleware platform. You'll leverage your deep understanding of RESTful API principles and web services to develop a robust service layer. In addition, you will be responsible for defining our integration strategy, maintaining our API catalog, and overseeing the development, maintenance, and governance of our systems' integration and service layer.

In this role, you'll:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise integration strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and technological landscape.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of integration solutions that ensure seamless communication and data exchange between various ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Coupa, PLM, SFDC, etc.
  • Maintain an up-to-date API catalog and oversee the development and governance of APIs using Google Apigee and other relevant tools.
  • Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Assess and recommend integration tools and technologies that enhance our integration capabilities.
  • Establish and enforce integration best practices, standards, and policies to ensure data consistency, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor the performance of integrated systems, identify and resolve integration issues, and ensure optimal system reliability and scalability.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration architectures, processes, and decision logs for future reference and compliance

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, etc) and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience using the Apigee platform for API management and ERP system integration. 
  • Experience with RESTful principles, integration patterns, API management, and enterprise application solution engineering.
  • Experience working with and managing teams or vendors.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience designing and deploying distributed systems.
  • Ability to collaborate and present effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $209,000 - $230,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
