Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software solutions meet client requirements effectively and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes that contribute to the overall success of the projects you oversee. Roles & Responsibilities: -The SPMAT administrator will be responsible for supporting and administering different modules of Smart Material like SPRD, E&PI, Material Supply Chain Management and Site Control. - He/ She will require significant skills to manage various configurations in SPMAT and also the ability to work as part of a team. - Able to handle tasks in SPMAT related to materials standardization, bills of materials and requisitions, procurement, fabrication tracking and site functions such as warehousing and disposition. - Liaising with other SPRD/ SPMAT Administrators, Design System Administrators, Spec Engineers and application vendor to develop appropriate solutions to meet client and project requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: - A minimum of 7-8 years of SPMAT experience with the following specific skills and experience: - 4+ years of hands-on experience in writing specification in SPRD and Integrating to S3D/ PDMS/ PDS - Specification writing experience with any major 3D design application S3D/ PDMS/ PDS - High degree of proficiency in managing catalog, building specification, managing the SPRD configuration for the design system and modelling in the design system. - Responsible for validating the accuracy and completeness of the SPRD metadata of piping specifications generated in SPRD, by Specification Engineers, and loading into the design system - Responsible for working with project teams and technical lead to understand business requirements and design specifications and develop specification accordingly in SPRD - Design System Reference Data Management. Basic Modelling in Design System, ISO and Bill of Materials management. - Knowledge of Piping Materials, Codes & Standards - Aware of all administration screens of SPMAT. Should have extensive knowledge of creation of projects, giving user access, default settings and other configuration items and options at Product level and at Project level - Great communication skills in English to facilitate working with a team located all over the globe. Additional Information: - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
