Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Account Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share within designated key accounts. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and positioning Parametric Technology (India) Private Limited's solutions to achieve their business objectives.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned key accounts.
* Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
* Proactively identify customer pain points, challenges, and opportunities, and effectively articulate how Parametric Technology solutions can address them.
* Lead the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
* Collaborate closely with pre-sales engineers, professional services, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and successful solution implementation.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer business strategies to identify new sales opportunities.
* Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account reviews to management.
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their strategic initiatives and aligning Parametric Technology offerings accordingly.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote Parametric Technology and network with potential clients.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in direct sales and account management, preferably within the software or technology industry.
* Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
* Deep understanding of complex sales cycles and strategic account planning methodologies.
* Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel as required.
