Responsible for the project management of ACCIONA Energy internal and external inputs for development ensuring that projects progress to commercial pre-construction phase while recognising schedule, cost and quality expectations.

This role additionally provides strategic development input including commercial and planning advice to guide the logical and strategic passage of ACCIONA Energy projects from feasibility through to the construction and operational phases.

ACCIONA Energy is seeking a Project Developer to lead renewable energy projects from feasibility through to pre-construction. This role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic development to deliver projects on time, on budget, and aligned with our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project development through investment case stage.

• Coordinate internal teams and external consultants.

• Build strong relationships with landholders, communities, and government stakeholders.

• Provide strategic advice on planning, commercial viability, and risk.

• Ensure compliance with legislation and best practice standards.

About You:

• Degree in planning, engineering, environmental science, or related field.

• Proven experience in project management, ideally in renewable energy.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Excellent communication and ability to work autonomously.

• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate.
