About the Role We’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed UX copywriter who can shape exceptional digital product experiences with words — and who’s excited to explore the frontier of AI-driven content. You’ll craft microcopy, conversation flows, and content frameworks that guide, reassure, and delight users at every touchpoint. If you can design content that speaks the user’s language, structure information so it’s instantly clear, and fine-tune AI prompts so they respond with precision — we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do 1. UX Writing & Microcopy Write clear, concise, and human-centred copy for product interfaces — buttons, menus, onboarding flows, error messages, and more. Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting tone to context and user needs. Turn complex ideas into intuitive, user-friendly language. 2. Content Strategy Develop content guidelines, tone-of-voice standards, and editorial frameworks that scale across multiple products. Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to integrate content seamlessly into the design process. Use research, analytics, and user testing insights to make data-informed content decisions. 3. AI Prompt Engineering Write, test, and refine prompts for AI-powered features, ensuring accurate, relevant, and brand-aligned responses. Map and optimise conversational flows for chatbots, virtual assistants, and other AI-driven user interactions. Explore and apply new generative AI capabilities to enhance the user experience. 4. Research & Iteration Conduct content audits and usability reviews to identify improvements. Use feedback from QA cycles, A/B tests, and live user sessions to refine copy and conversation design. What You’ll Bring Experience: 3+ years in UX writing, content design, or conversation design for digital products. Education: A formal degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, or Communications, or a minimum 3-year writing qualification. Honours or Master’s degree a strong plus. Language Mastery: Native or near-native English, with exceptional editing and storytelling skills. UX Mindset: Understanding of design principles, accessibility standards, and how copy impacts usability. AI Curiosity: Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and a knack for shaping prompts to achieve specific outcomes. Collaboration Skills: Comfortable working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers in agile environments. Tools: Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools. Bonus Points Experience optimising conversational AI for tone, accuracy, and inclusivity. Knowledge of SEO and content performance tracking.
