Summary:
As a Technology OpS Support Practitioner, you will own the integrity and governance of systems, including best practices for delivering services. You will develop, deploy, and support infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective in conjunction with existing standards and methods of delivery. Your typical day will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and deploy infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives.
- Follow best practices for delivering services and ensure compliance with existing standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities.
- Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and address any security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools.
- Provide on-call support and participate in the on-call rotation schedule.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting virtualization infrastructure.
- Knowledge of storage and networking technologies in a virtualized environment.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies for virtualized systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A Graduated is required.
