The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

OVERVIEW 

A role within Target Marketing and Social is focused on Social Performance, is an opportunity to create clear and compelling strategies and tactics that engage guests at every touchpoint. You will apply your detailed understanding of guest insights and behaviors to build out the industry-leading social strategies to achieve Target’s business objectives. You’ll drive brand equity and loyalty to increase Target’s share of shopping trips. You will work with key partners including Social Engagement, Commerce, Guest Insights, Digital, Target in India, Paid Social, Media Effectiveness, external third parties, and others to deliver reporting and insights, as well as intersect social data with other business critical data sources. Your deep and broad Marketing expertise will support your assigned categories and campaigns to maximize relevance and competitive advantage. Your commitment to partnership and collaboration will rally internal and external partners across functions—from merchants to vendors to industry creators. As a Senior Marketing Manager, Social Performance, you will lead the social media reporting process and measurement strategy, synthesizing results from various platforms and provide a holistic point of view to enable data-based business decision-making. This role requires strong social and financial storytelling and strategic thinking skills along with attention to detail. You will translate business goals and guest insights into actionable and measurable social strategies. You will assess and redefine key performance indicators, integrate KPIs into standard routines and evolve measurement tools. You will support guest conversation analysis and enterprise social reporting, delivering context to executive and communication teams on brand reputation, detailing guest brand sentiment. Consulting with Social Content strategists throughout campaign lifecycles, you will support Target Social performance and learnings from concept to delivery, while also implementing process improvements, tool enhancements and reporting. You will shape strategic narratives to gain buy-in from marketing leaders, external and enterprise partners alike. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. About you:  

  • Four-year degree required, Marketing, Social, or Digital emphasis or major preferred 

  • 8+ years of related work experience 

  • Proven track record of driving successful strategic marketing strategy and execution, instrumental to enterprise success  

  • Curiosity and drive to deeply understand guest needs, segmentation and the business, with the ability to analyze, interpret and synthesize the data into a compelling story 

  • Tenacity and courage to push constantly to make the work better, learn from results while being the voice of the guest and business 

  • Ability to engage partners across the organization at the right times to collaboratively solve problems, while keeping them informed, engaged and involved along the way 

  • Strong creative and media acumen and ability to write a compelling strategy brief and assess work against a defined strategy 

  • Experience in developing metrics, reports and visualizations to educate and inform key stakeholders 

  • Advanced proficiency in at least one visualization tool (i.e. Tableau, Domo, Greenfield, Adobe) with willingness and ability to learn additional visualizations tools 

  • Ability to identify and succinctly summarize roadblocks, constraints, and trade-offs, propose potential solutions, and drive toward resolution 

  • Experience with Facebook|Instagram (Meta) insights, Tik Tok analytics, Google|YouTube analytics, Netbase, Bazaarrvoice, URL metrics, Adobe, Site Catalyst, DOMO, Greenfield, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote preferred, Quid, Respondology or Sprnklr 

  • Experience in AB Testing methods 

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
