About the Team

Enterprise Cart & Checkout team is the owner of Cart & Checkout product which is backend system built to create omni channel experience for Lowes customers and associates as well across the multiple selling channels. We have built this product highly scalable, available, resilient to adhere current business needs and extensible enough to accommodate the future needs. Team is having very healthy, competitive and collaborative environment striving to achieve best technology implementations in the product.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Person will be responsible to write effective code and apply thought process before starting any implementation.

• Maintain the code quality, write JUnit's and automation test cases.

• Person will be driving communication with partner teams.

• Person will be responsible for writing code, system & integration testing, ensuring deployments to various environments.

• Person will be responsible for validating application performance.

• Providing support for production roll outs and stability of the product.

Years of Experience:

• 2+ years' experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

• 2+ years' experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

• 2+ years' experience in database technologies

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

Person must be a be having extensive hands-on experience in the following

• Data Structures

• Object Oriented Programming concepts

• Design Patterns

• Strong hand on experience with Java and OOPs concepts

• Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud or Micronaut

• REST Services and Microservices Architecture

• One or more Relational and NO-SQL databases (MongoDB & Postgres preferable)

• One or more CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GOCD, CircleCI

• One or more Test automation tools like xUnit , Selenium, JMeter

• One of the cloud platforms (Preferable GCP) Kubernetes and Docker (Preferable)

• Messaging technologies like Kafka. Must have good and effective communication skills.

• Good attitude towards learning new things and taking initiatives.

• Good team player as well as individual contributor.
